Branden, the Founder of E.B. is a long-time builder with a decade of conventional building experience in both the residential and commercial industry. In the past six years his focus has been on communal building in various eco-villages and retreat centers around the world.
With a long standing passion for Cob, and sustainable living, his mission is to help others build a relationship to their local resources. Ideally, this will bring people closer to their community, themselves and their environment. Empowering others is what drives him to teach and share the knowledge of what he’s gained throughout the years.
Branden has a deep appreciation for watching others grow during workshops and comes willing, excited and prepared to guide students on their upcoming Cob journey. Currently, he is the lead builder for an off grid eco-village based on the Big Island of Hawaii.
Bonnie is Branden’s partner and the Co-Founder of Earthen Builds. As the videographer marketer and social media/web manager, Bonnie is an integral part of the E.B. team. Assisting often from behind the scenes, she creates artistic video content to capture all the beautiful elements of what goes into an Earthen Builds workshop, both for the team and host.
With a previous career in writing, video editing and the eco-building field, Bonnie came skilled and already well-researched on the incredible benefits of Earthen Building. Sharing Branden’s mutual passion for Cob, Bonnie helped to co-create 'Earthen Builds' from the beginning.
As a long-time environmental advocate and activist, Bonnie is continually inspired to support and promote Earthen Building to those across the world.
